DRUM MOUNTAINS
Geologic field work often
involves driving along paths that really don't qualify as roads. Here we
have a stuck geology van in the Drum Mountains of western Utah, USA. The Drum
Mountains have well exposed Cambrian rocks. The Cambrian succession is
fossiliferous with trilobites and some soft-bodied fossils.
Notice that I am not helping
- I'm just taking this photograph. I paid for it. I was later
assigned to change a flat tire on four separate occasions during this
particular trip.
